It's a great top

I bought this item almost a year ago and have had no issues. It is very durable and stood up to the massive amounts of snow we had this past winter.

The only reason I did not give this 5 stars was I was a little dissapointed when the weather became warm and I realized to my dismay that the top does not include the snaps to roll up the rear window. Since that is the only issue I've come across since my purchase I would definately recommend and plan on purchasing this brand again when the time comes.

Replacement top for a Jeep Wrangler

I recently purchased this replacement top for my 2002 Wrangler Sport. The package came ahead of time and included a very detailed description of how to dismantle and replace the old top.

Comparing the fabric from the old with the new, it seems as the replacement top is of lesser quality than the original. I have experinced an increasing wind noise and the top on each side of the vehicle is much more 'alive'.

The zippers are made of plastic and not metal, as on the original top.

I am sure this replacement top will not last 9 years as did the original top.

Great Top for not a lot of Dough.

After purchasing a 2000 Wrangler, i quickly realized the top was going to have to be replaced, due to many busted seams and loose clip in rails. So I started researching only to find that replacement tops are not cheap. So when I found this PE replacement and saw the price I instantly became interested. I read many reviews, some good, some bad, so I was some what skeptical because of the price. I went ahead and ordered it and thought i'd roll the dice on it. It arrived packaged very well. I took it out and was quickly surprised in the strength of the material, expecting some paper thin canvas, the material was actually quite thick. The install was a breeze and after all was said and done, the top looks great on my Jeep. The windows are much thinner than stock windows, but doesn't make that much of a difference when it comes to road noise (which doesn't bother me anyway, its a jeep). I have no complaints and am extremely impressed. I highly recommend this replaceme nt top to anyone who isn't trying to spend a lot of money on one. I plan to take my stock top to an Auto upholstery shop and get a quote to have all the seams re-worked and then having a back up. Just an idea for those out there who might be in the same boat I was.
