4Rivco Goldwing armrests - 2010 GL1800HPNM
By Bob
Researched these and got approval from my passenger. Installation took about 45 minutes from unpacking the box to throwing the box away. I was familiar with taking the seat back off so that went quickly. Did some "fine-tuning" of the bend in the arm that is hidden behind the seat. There is a cutout there, so it can be done without putting the parts in a vise. Held it firmly in place and marked the top hole first. Loosely attached the top and used it help hold in place for the second hole marking. In general, it seems a little loose side-to-side, but my wife said they felt steady for her to rest her arms on. Three hour trip and the only complaint was that vinyl, no matter how good the quality, does not breath. May need to invest in some covers for the warmer days (it was 103F that day). There is some extra gap between the passenger seat and trunk lid, but more at the sides. Not excessive or unsightly in my opinion. Will give it a season and check the attachment integrity.
