Westin E-Series Nerf Bars 2009 Tacoma

The good about these bars are they are very high grade and look great installed. The bad if you are putting them on yourself as I was is they are mislabeled very badly. Each step comes with three mounting brackets. They are labeled for driver side "D" and passenger side "P"... Front, Middle and Rear. You put the mounting brackets on first, and then attach the steps. On mine the Front and Middle were labeled wrong. Meaning I had to put the Driver Front and Middle on the Passenger side to make them fit!! Should normally been a little over an hour job took me over 2 hours. Plus all that time your laying on the garage floor. Needless to say I was not happy. Great product but bewares of the labeling on the brackets. Can make for a lot of headaches!!

3rd time is a charm. I received the item damaged twice due to being poorly packed from the manufacturer. After returning the damaged goods, on the 3rd try I lucked out and received the side steps in good condition. All parts were accounted for, instructions are easy to follow. It took about 45 minutes to install both sides by myself and drive out of the driveway. They look great and do serve there purpose. Well worth the price and value.

Westin side steps for 2012 Tacoma

I purchased these for my husband as well as the vent visors & hood deflector and these are great. Packaged perfectly! WTG amazon! I went locally and got a price at a few places and it was roughly 700. for those three items. WOW! So they are easy to install. He was pleasantly surprised(stoked) when he found them in the garage waiting for him. Brackets sold separately which was fine. I did not get the stainless ones. I have a 10 yr old Tundra w/ running boards on it and it does not have stainless brackets on it either, so I wasnt going to spend the money. So I would highly recommend these. We have a black extra cab 2012 Tacoma, and it looks amazing! Now he wants new wheels ugh!
